30 m property buffer
Every waypoint is held at least 30 m from each property edge (Japan §132-86), classified per-edge, tighter than off-the-shelf planners.

Missions export as DJI’s open WPML / KMZ format and hand off to DJI Fly, no vendor lock-in, no black-box upload.
Wireless push from the field
Push a planned mission straight to the drone controller from the field, no computer, no cable. (Today this step uses an Android device; the iPhone-native path is in progress.)
Flights are flown line-of-sight by a pilot; splathaus generates the mission file and hands it to DJI Fly. We are iPhone- and iPad-native first. The fully iPhone-native flight workflow is still being validated, so today the aerial leg can lean on an Android device for mission programming. Direct in-app upload to the aircraft Planned is on the roadmap.

Before you fly, get a plain-language verdict on the spot, on the phone, with no signal needed. It evaluates Japan’s Civil Aeronautics Act rules against official data:
- DID (densely-inhabited district) status, from official MLIT data.
- Airport approach / horizontal / conical surface proximity.
- Weight ≥ 100 g → registration + Remote ID (DIPS 2.0).
- VLOS daylight vs BVLOS / night / over-people permission paths.
DIPS application drafting
When a flight needs permission, splathaus drafts a structured Category I/II/III application (aircraft, flight area, altitudes, assistants, safety checklist) for you to review and submit in the official DIPS 2.0 portal. We draft; you submit.

Declared ad hoc by the authorities with no public data feed. splathaus shows a standing caution and a link to the official MLIT notice. It is an advisory, not a geofence.

NPA-administered restrictions (~300 m) around sensitive facilities. We surface the advisory and the official facility list rather than drawing a polygon a partial dataset would make untrustworthy.

splathaus’ airspace guidance is a planning aid, not an authorisation. The pilot in command is solely responsible for verifying current airspace, NOTAMs, 緊急用務空域 declarations, facility restrictions, and registration status against the official MLIT, NPA, and DIPS sources before every flight. Datasets are periodically refreshed but may lag the authoritative source.
